1. Scope
This policy describes how the DropHere app (“丢这儿”) handles information related to you. By using the app, you acknowledge this policy. Chinese version: https://drophere.mlxb.cc/agreement/zh/privacy

3. Information we handle
DropHere helps you organize credentials, contracts, receipts, and similar materials on your iPhone or Android device. This may include:
- Titles, text, images, files, and attachment file names you add
- Document types, list order, reminder dates and settings
- Preferences such as App Lock and sync settings
- Purchase-related information processed by Apple or the relevant Android app store for Full access (we do not run a separate app account system)
We do not require an in-app registration account, and we do not upload your library content to our servers for analytics.
4. Where information is stored
- On-device library: The library stays in the app container as a private working copy and is excluded from system cloud backup and automatic device transfer. The Android version stores its managed library and attachments in the App-private internal directory. Keep your own originals because this working copy is not an archive.
- iCloud sync (iOS only, optional): Off by default. If enabled, active and trashed items, attachments, reminders, ordering, and the type catalog may sync via your Apple ID’s private CloudKit database across devices signed into the same account, and count against your iCloud storage. Turning sync off stops further traffic; it does not automatically delete existing cloud copies. The first Android release has no cloud sync.
- Device migration: You explicitly export or send migration data and import it on another device with DropHere installed. It does not go through our cloud servers. An Android migration archive is a file you control; use a secure transfer method and delete extra copies when finished.
Deleting the app removes data in the app container. Migration archives you exported yourself are not deleted with the app. Copies already uploaded through optional iCloud sync remain subject to your sync settings and Apple’s services.
5. System permissions
Requested only when needed:

You can revoke permissions in system Settings; related features will stop. Some Android actions use system pickers and do not grant the app ongoing access to your whole photo or file library.
6. Full access purchase
Full access removes the app’s free-tier cap on active items. On iOS it is available monthly, annually, or as a Permanent Unlock; Android offerings follow the products displayed by the corresponding app store. It does not promise unlimited storage or performance. Purchases, subscription status, receipts, refunds, and restore are handled by Apple or the Android app store you use and tied to that store account. Sharing rules follow the corresponding store product configuration.
7. What we do not do
- No custom analytics SDK that uploads your document contents
- No sale of your library to advertisers
- No upload of your library to our servers; optional iOS iCloud sync uses your Apple ID’s private CloudKit database
- No App Tracking Transparency request for cross-app advertising tracking
If you share system diagnostics with Apple, Google, or a device vendor, that platform’s policy applies; DropHere does not separately collect them.
8. Security
We rely on platform security; Android keeps the managed local library in App-private internal storage and excludes it from system backup, while iOS can use private iCloud sync when you enable it. App Lock reduces casual viewing of the app UI; it does not cover a compromised device, an unlocked device without App Lock, content you share or export yourself, or access on other devices under the same Apple ID after you enable sync.
9. Children
The app is for general personal document organization, not directed at children. Guardians should not let children store sensitive IDs unsupervised.
10. Changes
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes. Material changes may also be noted in the app or app-store release notes. Continued use means you acknowledge the updated policy.
